We had the opportunity to go and see the
Vietnam Moving Wall
at the cemetery.
Kevin was sick and I dragged him there.
I knew he would want to see it.
I always get choked up at U.S. memorials
and thinking of the sacrifices
that so many have done for us.
Looking around, I wasn't the only one.
"IN HONOR OF THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE
ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES
WHO SERVED IN THE VIETNAM WAR.
THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
AND OF THOSE WHO REMAIN MISSING
ARE INSCRIBED IN THE ORDER
THEY WERE TAKEN FROM US."

The moving wall started in 1984
and is half the size of the
memorial in Washington.
It is breathtaking.
We are truly very blessed to live in this country.
