Halloween 2012

Crazy Halloween this year,
it is way to warm!
We carved pumpkins outside!
Jace has figured out the stairs,
and looks pretty dang cute doing it.
 He loved the pumpkin guts.
He also would run away as fast as he could,
and Kade loved going to go get him.
 Kade showing off HIS pumpkin!
Kade designed his own pumpkin this year.
He says it is his silly pumpkin because its tongue is sticking out.
From an art project to the real thing!
Jace thought that the pumpkin tasted pretty dang good.
 Oh man isn't he kissable!
And here we are on Halloween, all dressed up.
 Not scary at all!
Seriously, how much does this crack you up!
I LOVE this picture!
We went trunk-r-treating with the cousins.
Karlee took over taking Kade all around.
Jace thought it was pretty fun.
 More treats.
 More cuteness.
 Jackson and Kaleb
 And now Jace is done.
 Crazy hair!
And seriously, no kid needs this much candy.
I told Kevin next year we are not buying candy,
we are recycling!
 And last but not least,
PUMPKINS!

As you can see we had a great and silly Halloween.

Making Mummy Dogs

We made mummy dogs for dinner!

Any time Kade can help with making dinner
is a good day!
 Jace just got to watch.
Not as much fun, but he did enjoy eating them.
After they got done baking.
It was so much fun and they turned out so cute.

Picking Pumpkins

Oh how I love fall!
And this year, fall has gone on and on!
This year we went to the Red Barn
to pick our pumpkins.
Man these boys are cute!

Here we are on the hay ride,
trying to take a family picture.
It cracks me up!
Jace and Dad on the big slide.
Kade and Dad, they did this
over and over.
So many places to take the boys pictures.
 Dad and his boys.
And this is as good as it gets with mom!
Now that Jace is walking he wanted to
get down and walk.
(don't judge me for the lack of shoes!)
I think Kade picked up every pumpkin he could.
We finally made a pumpkin pin, to keep Jace in.
Kade found the smallest pumpkin he could,
but he wanted a orange one, not a green one.
They searched and searched for the
perfect pumpkin!
 Kade finally found his.
And my favorite picture of the day.
So completely beautiful!
We had so much fun.
Both the boys were nice and good,
and nothing makes for a better day than that!

One year ago...

I can't believe that my baby boy is a year old today.
He adds so much to our family and I can't imagine him not in it.
We were able to celebrate his birthday with the family.
He was all about the song.
 But the candle mesmerized him!
He took it slow at first,
enjoying a cupcake all for himself!
 Delicious!
He didn't know about having messy hands.
The messier they got, the more he concentrated on them.
He is such a happy little guy.
Happy Birthday Jace!
We love and adore you!
