24th of July

I love the 24th of July.  I just love July!
It was Kade's first parade.  So of course we took some pictures.
This is my great-niece Brinley, she did not want to be dressed.
You have to admit on a hot summer day,
don't you wish you could strip down to nothing,
and not have a care in the world.
Oh - and look as cute as she does, wouldn't hurt.
Cassie tried and tried to keep her dressed.
Guess who won??
This is her big brother Kyler, isn't he cute!
Kurt, Kevin's brother,  has been staying with us for a while and honestly I wish he would never leave.  I have said before that he cracks me up, but in the morning he and Kevin are so not fun.  But they made it to something I love, just another reason I love them.
My niece Berklee and my brother Todd, enjoying the parade!
So every year there is a cannon at the first of the parade,
and I have always seen moms cover their babies ears,
well this year we covered Kades.
And he just looked at us like we were crazy.
My brother Ryan is on the fire department
and we get to sit at the
fire station to watch the parade.
Our City has a volunteer fire department
and I think they are all the best!
This time the loud noise was the sirens, but the look is the same,
you guys are crazy.
My fun brother Jason and Kade
I think if I would let him, he would take Kade home.
Karlee got to be in the parade this year.
She is the cute one with pig tails.
She loved the whole thing and waved like a princess.
After the parade we went to my moms, had lunch,
then all the girls piled in the car and went to the craft fair.
But the funnest was when we went to Sonic for HAPPY HOUR.
We were "that car"  the one you hate to be behind.
I think we ordered fourteen drinks.
Ya, I am sure the car behind us hated us!

I love that picture of your brother with Kade--how sweet is that? And what was the deal with all the sirens this year? Did every fire truck in the valley have to keep those darn things on for the length of the parade?
