4th of July

July is by far my favorite month.  

I love the spirit that is in the air.  

The celebration of FREEDOM.

It was obviously Kades first.  And I hope he grows to love this month as much as I do.  I hope he gets a little choked up when he thinks of the many people who have sacrificed for our county.  I hope he learns to love and respect his freedoms.  I hope that when he looks at the flag, he looks at it in honor.  We are so blessed to live in this country.

Kevin was so sick this 4th.  So we didn't do much.  

The big outing of the day was on our lawn enjoying the shade.

Kade is such a good baby.  

He just hung out with his sick dad and looked around.

I asked Kevin to sit up for a second and smile.  

He looks so pale in this picture, and his eyes are so red and droopy.  

But I am glad he did it.  I love my boys.

So the big fun event of the day, giving Kade a taste of his 

first popsicle.  

He loved it from the very first suck.

Oh...... so good!!

I want more, I need more!

Oh that's it!

I can't say enough how much I love my boy.

My mom was walking over to my Grandpas, so  

I made her come over and snap a quick family picture.

Another big todo on the 4th was Kade held his bottle the whole time he ate.  He has never done that before.  He usually cares more about the food then how he gets it.  

So after our lawn party we did our normal nightly routine.  

This 4th I watched fireworks on the TV (the New York show).  

And a few looking out the window.  

And it made me realize, 

I loved this 4th more then any other.
