San Diego Day Two

So I think day two was my favorite day.  It was laid back and fun.  Kevin's brother Kurt was with us, and he cracks me up!  I seriously love him!!  So we had a good day.  Just a warning, a lot of pictures, and this isn't all of them, just the fav's.   

Funny story, we were going to the zoo, Kevin called and it said open until 6:00.  So we thought great, it was just after four and we thought two hours would be tons of time with a four month old.  Well come to find out, you can not get in after four (why didn't they put that part of the info on the message?), so long story short we went to Balboa Park which is right next door.  It is beautiful!  There was a graduation and a prom going on so it was the place to be!

When we first go there, Kade was in the stroller, and Kevin and Kurt carried him everywhere up and down the  stairs.

We got Kade out to take a few pictures, and well lets just say there was no going back in the stroller after that.

So Kevin decided to sport the carrier for the first time.  

I have no idea why he is standing this way, it kills me!!

 Balboa park is full of museums, all of them were close, but as you can see the art was everywhere.  Here is Kevin, Kade and Kurt.  Kurt decided to climb the snake.

 It was starting to get cold so we put Kade's jacket on, doesn't he look adorable!

So Kevin is an extra fast walker, he doesn't take into account that I have very short legs.  He was always in front of us, so Kurt and I would goof off.  I loved showing the pictures to Kevin the first time, I thought I laughed hard when we did this, I was dieing when Kevin and the rest of the family saw them.  Kurts random mind is so cleaver!

This time Kevin packs Kade and Kurt gets the stoller himself.

This goof ball was playing the guitar in the fountain, you couldn't hear a thing.  

So I call him the pretender.

 I just love this place!

So now it was time to go back to the hotel, Kade was so excited!  He was so sweet and good the whole day.  He would only take catnaps, just long enough so he could get up again and observe. And he slept so well that night.  We are so lucky to have him in our family.  He is our blessing!
