The Power of Prayer

I have always been a firm believer in the power of prayer. It has helped me when nothing else could. I have personally felt the power of prayer twice in my life. Once was the year and a half I served as a missionary. The other, during our adoption process. To actually feel the power of prayer is something that is hard to explain, there is nothing else like it. Now I know only a few people that look at our blog, but I am asking you to say a short prayer for my brother Steve. He is having brain surgery today, and I know that he needs those prayers so he will be comforted. It is going to be a long process, so even if your reading this a few days or weeks later, it would help.

The example of people praying is more awe-inspiring, more powerful, than the explosion of an atomic bomb. The force of prayer is greater than any possible combination of man-controlled powers.
